Montgueux
Ten kilometres away from Troyes, the hill of Montgueux is famous for its vines that produce the famous “wine of the kings”, and it is a perfect place to grow Chardonnay grape.
Welcome to Montgueux!
At an altitude of 268 metres, the village of Montgueux offers a magnificent (almost) 360° panoramic view over Troyes and the Aube department countryside. Stroll through its peaceful streets, admire its diversified landscapes and promising horizons, enjoy the tranquillity, inhale the intoxicating scents of its lush greenery… Although today, the atmosphere may seem peaceful, over the centuries, these lands have been the scene of battles and extraordinary, tragic but astonishing events that have probably even changed the course of history.
