Lebocey Park
The Lebocey Park was bought by the city of Pont-Sainte-Marie in 2007. There was the castle of Bernard Lebocey, a textile manufacturer from Troyes.
The Moulinet castle was built in 1905 and was unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1976, then demolished.
Today, it is a place for bucolic walks with more than 50 different species of trees. A lime has even been labelled a remarkable tree by the association called “A.R.B.R.E.S.” (“trees” in French).
Good to know: In the area behind the castle were the first traces of human presence on the commune found. They are estimated to date from 1700 BC.
Take the opportunity to see the 1905 washhouse, which was entirely restored by the town, and have a walk through the park, where a cave is hidden.
